COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA PROGRAM
BROADCASTING IN RADIO/TV
CERTIFICATE

This program is designed for students who wish to prepare for a career in radio and television in a one-year program. Work is concentrated in the radio and television facilities of the college. Completion of the certificate program prepares the student for entry-level employment in either radio or television.
Students get hands-on experience working on the college radio stations WSGR and WCLG, and in the college television studios. Students learn to announce, write for broadcast, direct, appear on camera, and operate radio and television broadcast equipment.
