Welding has become an almost universal process in manufacturing, construction agriculture, and various service industries. It also has many personal uses in terms of home and workshop projects as well as applications in the field of art.
This course of study will provide the student with a basic background in the welding field in addition to entry-level (or above) job skills in the following: Oxyacetylene Welding, Brazing and Cutting (OAW), Electric Arc Welding (SMAW), Tig or Heliarc Welding (GTAW), Mig Welding (GMAW) and Carbon Arc and Arc-Air Welding, Cutting and Brazing (CAW).
