AVI 101 Private Pilot Ground School. Designed to provide the student with the basic academic knowledge required to pass the FAA private pilot written examination, the course also serves as a refresher for pilots who wish to update their proficiency. Topics covered include principles of flight, aircraft performance, aircraft and engine operation, flight instruments, navigation, communications, aviation weather and federal aviation regulations.
