Reports are to be made to Campus Patrol of accidents occurring on the college campus that cause injury to students. Accidents causing serious injury are to be treated as emergencies.

The college maintains an intercollegiate athletic program and is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
SC4 participates in men's and women's basketball, men's baseball, women's softball, men's golf, and women's volleyball.
The college also provides the opportunity for intramural sports throughout the fall and winter semesters based upon student request and interest. Please contact the Athletic Department, 810-989-5670, for additional information.
BOOKSTORE 810-989-5725
The SC4 Bookstore carries required books and supplies for classes as well as clothing and convenience items. New and used books are available. The store purchases marketable used books from students during posted book buy-back periods. The store is open to the public.

The EOC M-TEC Childcare Center at SC4 is designed to provide quality childcare for college students and staff. The center is operated by EOC of St. Clair County and is affiliated with Blue Water HeadStart.
HOURS: 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. RATES: Hourly; contact the center for further information. PAYMENT: Expected each week by the preceding Friday. AGES: 6 weeks to 6 years.

Relaying messages to students on campus is very difficult because of the size of the campus. St. Clair County Community College will do its best to deliver EMERGENCY messages ONLY.

Students may obtain an accident and sickness insurance policy for a nominal premium. The college provides the policy information for students. SC4 is not responsible for any coverage and/or claims.
LITERARY MAGAZINE
Patterns is an award-winning magazine of student writing and art that is published annually. Patterns features the winning entries in the college's writing and art competition. More information about Patterns is available from either the Communications (810-989-5578) or Art Department (810-989-5709).
LOST AND FOUND (810-989-5640)
The Learning Resources Center is the central location for all lost and found items on campus.
NEWSPAPER
The Erie Square Gazette is published every two weeks through fall and winter semesters. The nucleus of the staff is drawn from journalism classes, but membership on the staff is open to all interested students. Call the Communications Department at 989-5584 for more information.
PARKING
Student parking is available at no charge in the large lot adjacent to the College Center. Additional paid parking is available at city operated facilities nearby. Certain areas of the College Center lot and the entire lot at the Main Building are reserved for faculty and staff. Persons parking illegally (including fire lanes and unauthorized handicap usage) will be ticketed or towed by College Campus Patrol personnel or city, county, or state police agencies.

SC4 operates two radio stations. One is WSGR (91.3 FM) operating 24 hours a day year round, and the other is WCLG (1490 AM). Both stations are staffed with student broadcasters and provide training for jobs in the broadcast industry. All students are encouraged to inquire about the opportunity to be on the air with their own program.
SEX OFFENDERS REGISTRATION
Notice is hereby given to the campus community that persons seeking information concerning registered sex offenders should contact the St. Clair County Sheriff Department or the Sheriff Department for any county where off-campus programs are offered.
STUDENT BULLETIN 810-989-5560
The Student Bulletin is issued every Monday and contains such items as announcements and information about club meetings and coming events. The bulletins are posted at convenient locations throughout the buildings or visit the SC4 website at www.sc4.edu. Items for the bulletin should be submitted to the Dean of Students and Instructional Support Services Office, 209 MB, by 4:30 on Wednesday of the week preceding distribution. It is the student's responsibility to read this bulletin to keep current with campus activities, announcements, deadlines, etc.
STUDENT GOVERNMENT

Student Government of St. Clair County Community College promotes and sponsors a wide range of activities throughout the academic year and serves as the formal spokesperson for the students. Membership to Student Government is by election, but any student, part-time or full-time, may participate in some segment of Student Government. All students are invited to attend the bi-weekly meetings.
Petitions to run for election to Student Government
Student Government officers are President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. A 2.0 grade point average is required to hold office and you must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours.
Students must file petitions with forty (40) valid signatures as specified by the election committee. The deadline for filing petitions will be announced in the Student Bulletin. Petitions may be picked up in the Athletic Office, and must be returned by the date specified. The Student Government officers are elected during the winter semester.
STUDENT CLUBS 810-989-5670
Student clubs provide opportunities for leadership, expanded interests and social life. Student Government is made up of the officers of all the recognized clubs on campus. Student Government coordinates activities of the clubs and appropriates funds from the Student Activities Fund.

VOTER REGISTRATION
If you have not registered to vote, forms to do so are available in the Bookstore, Enrollment Services, and the Learning Resources Center. Forms may also be downloaded from www.michigan.gov/sos or www.yourvotematters.org.
WORKS PRODUCED BY STUDENTS
Students have a right to their own creative work. After the work has been reviewed, corrected, evaluated, or graded, the work is to be returned to the student. Except for classroom and instructional purposes, no one may publish, display, perform, record, transmit, or otherwise use a student's work without his/her permission. However, if a student submits a work for publication, display, or performance to any college activity, the student thereby grants the college the right to edit, publish, display, perform, record, and transmit the work.
