This interdisciplinary program of study is planned to prepare students to work in the growing field of facility and energy management. The facility manager is an important link in the integration of telecommunication, information management systems, maintenance, security and general administrative services. Facility managers are responsible for the total facility work environment from chairs to air quality. Facility management professionals work in industries such as: general manufacturing, banking and finance, electronics, insurance, education, research and development, health care, communication, public administration, retail, wholesale, data processing, architecture and design, transportation, real estate, government agencies, and distribution companies.
