This program of study is planned to prepare students to work in the continually growing field of mechatronics. It combines technical skills from the computer, electrical/electronic, and mechanical disciplines to develop well-rounded, multi-skilled technicians who can design, install, program, integrate, service and troubleshoot mechatronic components and systems. Examples include the following: Computer Programming and Interfacing, Robotics, Electronics, Automation, Machine Vision, Programmable Electronic Controls, Electrical Power and Control Systems, AC/DC Motor Drives and Control Systems, Sensors and other Control Devices, Instrumentation, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Power and Control Systems. |
