| | New SC4 applicants are required to complete an online orientation prior to academic advising. In your acceptance letter you will receive login instructions (valid for 30 days) to complete the orientation. If orientation login information is misplaced, a user ID and password can be requested by calling (810) 989-5500. Click here to login to the orientation if you already have your username and password. If you do not have Internet access, you may use the computers in Room 123, Acheson Technology Center, to complete the orientation. |

| | As a new applicant, either assessments or submission of ACT scores is mandatory. Once tests have been completed or ACT scores have been submitted, you will schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor. To schedule COMPASS assessments click here or call (810) 989-5520. Note to recent high school graduates: You may want to consider taking SC4’s COMPASS assessments for class placement if you took your ACT exam as a junior. You may place higher with the COMPASS scores, especially if you took a math class as a senior. |

| | You can register online at www.sc4.edu/wave or in person in Room 123, Acheson Technology Center. Registration cannot be done by phone. At registration, you will be REQUIRED TO MAKE PAYMENT for tuition and fees by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, money order or check. A non-refundable registration fee is incurred. Visit www.sc4.edu/tuition for details on budget payment plans and early enrollment/no money down payment dates. The college reserves the right to remove students from courses for not complying with the tuition payment schedule. A registration restriction will be imposed for students who have been dropped for non-payment twice in the same semester. |

| | All students must activate their new student email account, which is provided after registration for classes. | 10: Attend class |
| | Attendance is the single most important factor in a student’s college success. SC4 expects you to attend all classes and to notify instructors if you must be absent. Failure to attend classes can result in failing grades and removal of financial aid awards. |
