Del James Blessinger Award for Teaching Excellence

Call for Nominations 2010 Del James Blessinger Award for Teaching Excellence In appreciation of an award given to him while a student at St. Clair County Community College, the late Del James Blessinger, in establishing an endowment in his name for St. Clair County Community College, made provision for a portion of the earnings from the endowment each year to be awarded to acknowledge excellence in teaching. Two awards will be presented at Commencement: one to a full-time teaching faculty member and one to an adjunct teaching faculty member at St. Clair County Community College. Nominations may be made by full-time and adjunct faculty, administrators, staff and students. Fill out the form below or download and print the form as a PDF. Forms are also available in the President's Office, Main Building, Room 217. Completed forms must be received by Friday, March 5, 2010, to be considered. Individuals eligible to submit nominations for this award are students, full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, staff and administrators of St. Clair County Community College. The award will be made based upon information provided in this form. Nominators are encouraged to interview the candidate to provide complete and thorough reasons for nominating the faculty member.

**Please note: Past recipients of the Del James Blessinger Award for Teaching Excellence are not eligible.
