April is National Community College Month, and community colleges across the nation are planning events to celebrate. In conjunction with the Michigan Community College Association's celebrations, St. Clair County Community College will offer numerous activities. |

| Free College Day — SC4 will offer its annual Free College Day on Saturday, April 5. The event will feature more than 150 free sessions on the college’s Port Huron campus. | Career Fair — The college will offer its annual Career Fair from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in Room 150 of the Citizens First Michigan Technical Education Center on the Port Huron campus. | Patterns 50th Anniversary Art Show — The show, “Visual Artists Then and Now,” will exhibit work from artists who have contributed to Patterns during its first 49 years. Patterns is a literary and arts publication featuring work from St. Clair County Community College students. |

| Patterns Reception — A reception to celebrate the release of the 50th edition of Patterns will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the SC4 Fine Arts Theatre and College Center Atrium. The event will feature readings from three guest authors, including Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Franz Wright and authors Michael Perry and Mike Magnuson. Copies of Patterns will be available. |
