St. Clair County AFL-CIO Scholarship Applicants must be a union member or a son/daughter or legally adopted child of an active, retired or deceased member. Applicant will be required to submit documentation with the scholarship application. The recipient, upon completion of the term that the scholarship was awarded, will give a brief report to the sponsor at its monthly meeting. Award: $500 Deadline: August 30, 2010 application
VFW Post 5855 Scholarship Awarded to any Michigan Veteran at any Michigan School (4yr, 2yr or trade).
Eligibility criteria include: - Must be attending a university, college or trade school
- Provide a copy of student ID
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 (an unofficial transcript will be accepted)
- Submit copy of DD214
- Must be a member of a Veteran’s organization
- Provide a copy of membership card
- Must be a resident of the state of Michigan
