Vera Andrus Scholarship
Awarded to a second year pre-law student who will be transferring to the University of Michigan or Wayne State Law School. Must be full time and have a 3.0 GPA.
Award: $1000 per year     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Theodora I. Beard Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full time sophomore with a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must submit a recommendation from an advisor or instructor in their major field.
Award: $700 per year     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Bezenah Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a sophomore majoring in criminal justice with a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. Recipient must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and show financial need. Must provide a letter of recommendation from a criminal justice instructor.
Award: $200 for fall semester     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Howard D. and Annabelle Crull Scholarship
Awarded to a student who is in a vocational-technical program at SC4 with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Award: $200 for Fall Semester     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

James H. Halamka Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student majoring in biology with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Student must have either had two Biology courses or one previous course and be currently enrolled in another. Applicant must complete a general scholarship application, submit a letter of recommendation from a biology instructor, and write a 100-150-word essay stating career goals and objectives. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Award: $300 for Fall Semester     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Jeff Harrington Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a freshman or sophomore who has completed the FAFSA form, resides in St. Clair County and shows financial need. Other consideration will be given to those who demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities. Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Award: $200     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Kahmann Memorial Scholarship
Available to full time students majoring in Science or Business with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Student must also show a financial need.

Hon. Edward T. Kane Memorial Scholarship – SC4 Foundation
Preference for students residing in Algonac or Clay Township. Must major in criminal justice, attend a minimum of 6 credit hours and have a 3.25 GPA.
Award: $250/Fall and $250/Winter     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Alfred Maxwell Memorial Scholarship
An award will be given to a full time student residing in St. Clair County who is majoring in Art or Music. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and provide a letter of recommendation from an art or music instructor.

Marilyn K. Moore Scholarship
Recipient must be a female sophomore with a minimum 2.7 GPA who is in need of a degree to become gainfully employed. Recipient must show financial need and be enrolled full time. Applicant must write a 100-150-word essay stating career goals and objectives.
Award: $1,000 per year     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Bessie I. Mueller Endowment
An award is available to a sophomore majoring in Home Economics, Horticulture, Agriculture, English or a related field. The scholarship will continue for scholarship recipients transferring to Michigan State University who maintain full time status with a 3.0 GPA.
Award: $1,000 per year at SC4, $2,500 per year at MSU     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

E. B. Mueller Endowment
An award is available to a sophomore majoring in Business or Engineering. The scholarship will continue for those students transferring to the University of Michigan who maintain full time status with a 3.0 GPA. Eligible students must be a full-time resident in the SC4 district or Lambton County and demonstrate financial need.
Award: $1,000 per year at SC4, $2,500 per year at U of M     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Nebraska Book Company Tuition Scholarship
Awarded to a freshman or sophomore who has completed the FAFSA form, resides in St. Clair County and shows financial need. Recipient must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Award: $500     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Nursing Program Scholarship
Recipient must be enrolled in a Nursing curriculum with a minimum 3.3 GP A. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Prichard Nursing Scholarship
Awarded to a graduate of Port Huron High or Port Huron Northern High School entering the last year of the ADN program. Intent is to help a student with a financial need but barely not qualifying for other financial aid. Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Award: $1,000 for the year     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Port Huron Garden Club Scholarship
An award will be given to a second year student with a minimum 2.0 GP A majoring in Horticulture or a related field. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Prestolite Endowment
Awarded to a student majoring in Business. Priority will be given to a son or daughter of a Prestolite employee or past employee (must provide documentation of Prestolite relationship if appropriate). Must have at least 6 credits and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Must be a resident of the SC4 district for at least one year. If no Prestolite employee or dependent is identified, a high school senior will be selected who plans to enroll at SC4 as a full time student. Criteria is noted as follows: academic performance, extra curricular activities including work, and unusual circumstances.

Gordon and Marlene Rady Endowment
Awarded to a sophomore (single parent preferred) who is majoring in Business and is a resident in St. Clair County. Recipient must be full time, maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Mary E. Regling Memorial
Awarded to a freshman or sophomore, full or part time, who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Award: Varies     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Keegan R. Robinson Memorial
Learning disabled or ADD. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. A statement of academic challenges and goals and how you are attempting to overcome those challenges also needs to be submitted.
Award: $500 per year     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application     Fall 2009 only

SC4 Alumni Association Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time SC4 student with a minimum 3.0 high school grade point average and maintaining a 3.0 grade point average at SC4. Selection is based on academic excellence, financial need and community involvement or extracurricular activities.
Award:
$1,000 per year for one year and is renewable for a second year for students who continue to meet the criteria.

St. Clair County AFL-CIO Scholarship
Applicant must be a union member or a son/daughter or legally adopted child or an active, retired or deceased member. Documentation required. The recipient upon the completion of the term that the scholarship was awarded will give a brief report to the sponsor at its monthly meeting.
Award: $250     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Sydney Spofford Scholarship
Awarded to a single parent pursuing a Nursing major who demonstrates a financial need. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Award: $600 per year ($300 each semester)     Deadline: Nov. 13, 2009     application

Thomas A. Treleaven Communication Scholarship – SC4 Foundation
Awarded to a freshman student enrolled full time in a communications program. Communications is identified as broadcasting, communication, journalism, foreign languages, reading, public relations, English, communication design and advertising. Recipient must have a 3.0 high school GPA.

Pine Grove Masonic Lodge
The Pine Grove Masonic Lodge is offering a scholarship based on need for a full-time student with a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. Please pick up a special scholarship application in the SC4 Financial Aid Office, ATC 123. Deadline is December 14, 2009.
Award: $1,000 year     Deadline: Dec. 14, 2009     application

Students applying for financial aid for semesters

should submit the 2008-2009 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) using our school code, 002310.

Students should use their Department of Education PIN number to complete a Renewal FAFSA and to provide an Electronic Signature. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PIN number for the FAFSA application, visit the Department of Education's PIN Web Site and click "Request a Duplicate PIN".
