SC4 summer programs offer arts, science, sports

Registration is open for St. Clair County Community College’s Summer 101 programs in Port Huron.

Summer 101 is a group of classes and camps from June through August that provides fun, hands-on learning for students in various age groups.

Middle and high school students can enroll for “Reach Out for College Credit” in July and August. These are 1-credit, weeklong, college-level classes designed specifically for students in grades 7 through 12. Topics include computers, science, visual and performing arts, and writing.

Young athletes can improve sports skills in the summer months with five Skipper Summer Sports Camps for students ages 8 to 18. The SC4 Athletic Department will instruct youth baseball, basketball and volleyball.

Registration is required for all classes. For more information, including times, locations and costs, visit www.sc4.edu/summer101 or call (810) 989-5580.
