SC4 to offer project management training

St. Clair County Community College’s Workforce Training Institute is offering classes to prepare students for the Project Management Professional certification. The Project Management Professional certification is required by many organizations looking for a project manager.

The classes are:

Project Management — 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, and Tuesday, Oct. 9. Training will cover project management organizations, project initiation, project planning, schedule analysis, risk management, project performance and project closure fundamentals.
Preparing for the Project Management Professional exam — 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16; Wednesday, Oct. 17; and Thursday, Oct. 18. This class will prepare the participant to take the examination with practice exams, workshops and class discussions. Students will learn essential terminology and processes.
