SC4 taking school group reservations for Children's Theatre

Local schools can make group reservations for the St. Clair County Community College Children’s Theatre performance of James and the Giant Peach, running Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16, in the Fine Arts Theatre on the Port Huron campus.

James and the Giant Peach was written by Roald Dahl and adapted by David Wood. Richard Goteri and Rachel Bellack are directing the play. The play tells the story of James Henry Trotter, a 9-year-old orphan who, through magic, befriends a group of insects who take him on an amazing journey.

Tickets for the show cost $3 per student. To register a group of students, contact Karen Jezewski in the college's Visual and Performing Arts Department at (810) 989-5709 or kjezewski@sc4.edu.

A public performance capping off the week is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17.
