SC4 registrar elected treasurer of state association

St. Clair County Community College Registrar Pete Lacey has been elected treasurer of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.

The three-year term continues through November 2011. As treasurer, Lacey also will have a seat on the association’s eight-member executive board.

Lacey has worked at SC4 since 1996, previously serving as admissions representative, interim financial aid director and baseball coach.

His duties as registrar include overseeing the enrollment services office.

Lacey lives in Burtchville Township.

The Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers was organized in 1921 to provide professional development opportunities for its members as well as provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas.
