SC4 to offer new information technology classes

The Workforce Training Institute at St. Clair County Community College will offer several new information technology classes this winter.

Classes include:
  • IT Disaster Planning — 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 24, or 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Learn awareness of what an organization needs to be prepared for in an information technology disaster. Training will focus on computer-related aspects of disaster recovery.
  • Computer and Keyboarding Basics — Monday and Wednesday evenings, Feb. 2 through March 11. Get a basic introduction of computers and learn tips to increase typing speed.
  • Keyboarding Basics — Flexible starting dates and times. Learn how to type fast and accurately through proper finger placement and practice.
