SC4 employees honor former trustee Hamilton

Employees of St. Clair County Community College hosted a reception Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Fogcutter Restaurant in Port Huron to honor former SC4 Trustee Thomas A. Hamilton.

Hamilton of Port Huron served on the college’s Board of Trustees for 37 years, through Dec. 31, 2008.

The event featured hors d’oeuvres and a chance for employees and community members to talk with Hamilton. Members of various college employee groups made presentations to honor Hamilton’s service.

Board of Trustees Vice Chair Dianna Maxwell presented Hamilton with a framed resolution of appreciation, which was approved by the Board of Trustees, acknowledging his service to the board, college and community.
