SC4 Free College Day registration to open March 15

Registration for St. Clair County Community College’s annual Free College Day begins online Sunday, March 15, and via phone and fax Monday, March 16.

The event will offer more than 150 classes Saturday, April 4, on the college’s Port Huron campus. Topics include arts and crafts, computers, history, recreation and science.

Presenters include SC4 professors and staff and local residents who will volunteer their time to share their expertise with the community. The day will include lunch breaks and drop-in activities.

Last year, Free College Day saw more than 1,100 people participate.

A complete schedule of classes and online registration will be available beginning Sunday, March 15, at www.sc4.edu/freecollege. A schedule of classes will appear as a special insert in the Sunday, March 15, edition of the Times Herald. The schedule also will be available at community locations in St. Clair County such as libraries and city offices.

Registration beginning Monday, March 16, is available by fax at (810) 989-5752 and by phone at (810) 989-5822 during normal business hours. Registration deadline is Tuesday, March 31. Classes fill fast, so early online registration is recommended.
