SC4 to offer Financial Aid Night

St. Clair County Community College is offering a free Financial Aid Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the Citizens First Michigan Technical Education Center on the college’s Port Huron campus.

The workshop will help students who just recently decided to enroll in college and still want to secure financial aid for the 2009-10 school year.

The event will feature a presentation about all types of financial aid offered at SC4, including loans, grants and scholarships. SC4 representatives will explain how to apply for financial aid and will give tips for obtaining maximum financial aid.

Financial aid representatives then will provide individual help for attendees to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. To complete the application, participants are asked to bring their completed 2008 tax forms.
