SC4 hires Dwyer as baseball coach St. Clair County Community College has hired Dennis Dwyer as coach of its Skippers baseball team. Dwyer of Port Huron Township had been an assistant SC4 baseball coach. He takes over as head coach Friday, June 12. For the past nine years, he has served as Port Huron Northern High School's varsity baseball coach. Dwyer is an English/language arts teacher at Port Huron Area School District’s Central Middle School in Port Huron Township. He earned his associate degree from SC4, his bachelor’s degree in community school education from Ferris State College (now Ferris State University) and his master’s degree in educational administration/community leadership from Central Michigan University. Dwyer is a former SC4 baseball player, who played in 1975 and 1976. "I’m just really excited to create a new baseball program," Dwyer said. |
