SC4 students awarded Nebraska Book Co. scholarships

Seven St. Clair County Community College students have been awarded the Nebraska Book Co. Tuition Scholarship for 2009-10.

The scholarships are given to freshmen or sophomores who meet certain criteria, including having completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, living in St. Clair County and maintaining a minimum 2.0 grade point average. The award is $500.

The students are:

Don Richmon Caluya of Port Huron.
Hillary Meyer of Burtchville Township.
Michelle Nolan of Clay Township.
Callie Oppertshauser of Port Huron.
Natalie Russo of St. Clair.
Emily Smith of Port Huron.
Maranda Wilson of Algonac.
