SC4 students awarded Nebraska Book Co. scholarships

Seven St. Clair County Community College students have been awarded the Nebraska Book Co. Tuition Scholarship for 2009-10.

The scholarships are given to freshmen or sophomores who meet certain criteria, including having completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, living in St. Clair County and maintaining a minimum 2.0 grade point average. The award is $500.

The students are:

  • Don Richmon Caluya of Port Huron.
  • Hillary Meyer of Burtchville Township.
  • Michelle Nolan of Clay Township.
  • Callie Oppertshauser of Port Huron.
  • Natalie Russo of St. Clair.
  • Emily Smith of Port Huron.
  • Maranda Wilson of Algonac.
