The SC4 Symphonic Band will present its “Halloween Spooktacular V” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in McMorran Place Auditorium, 701 McMorran Blvd., Port Huron.

The concert is being combined with the New Horizons Band.

Those attending are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their children. Special events for children include a Halloween costume parade, treats and a Halloween safety presentation.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for college students and free for students in kindergarten through 12th grade when accompanied by an adult.

Carl Gippert is conductor of the SC4 Symphonic Band. T. Patrick Dempsey is conductor for the New Horizons Band.

The SC4 Symphonic Band was organized in January 1978 to provide an opportunity for performance beyond the high school and college level. The band comprises 50 to 55 members representing advanced high school students, college students and outstanding community musicians. Ages vary from 16 to 80.
