SC4 to present suicide prevention, survival program

St. Clair County Community College Student Government will present Know Resolve, a suicide prevention and survival program, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Fine Arts Theatre on the college’s Port Huron campus.

The free event is sponsored by the Dillon Leif Ulmer Memorial Fund.

The event will feature Dennis Liegghio, founder of Web site noresolve.org. Liegghio will give a youthful and enthusiastic presentation mixed with music to discuss his experience as a suicide survivor. Liegghio also will discuss the warning signs of suicide.

St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon will discuss suicide statistics and how they impact St. Clair County.

A question-and-answer session will follow.

St. Clair County Community Mental Health will have an information table at the event.

For event details, call (810) 989-5501.
