Registration is open for the certified nurse aide class offered by St. Clair County Community College's Workforce Training Institute at the college’s Bad Axe extended learning center.

The college’s nurse aide training program is a 96-hour, state-approved curriculum that qualifies participants to take the Michigan certified nurse aide exam.

The program begins Friday, March 19, at the SC4 Nursing Education Center, 65 Patrick Drive, Bad Axe. The program continues through early May.

Students must complete a pre-assessment workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, prior to taking the class.
