SC4 Commencement ceremony planned May 7 ![]() St. Clair County Community College’s 86th annual Commencement ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 7, in McMorran Place Main Arena, 701 McMorran Blvd., Port Huron. The Commencement ceremony is open to the public. No tickets are required. Lester Killion of Port Huron will serve as keynote speaker for the ceremony. Killion will graduate that night with an associate in applied arts and science degree in management from SC4. He plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business management through Walsh College. He was selected as Commencement speaker through a nomination and interview process involving SC4’s faculty and Commencement Planning Committee. Killion has worked in the college’s maintenance department for 19 years. He is president of the Blue Water Church Softball League and a facilitator for the divorce care ministry of Colonial Woods Missionary Church in Port Huron. He also has been involved with Boys Scouts of America and American Youth Soccer Organization. SC4 has 638 students eligible to graduate. For details, visit www.sc4.edu/commencement. ###
