SC4 to offer online health care classes

St. Clair County Community College’s Workforce Training Institute is offering several online health care classes beginning in September. Classes are offered through online training partner ed2go.

The classes provide continuing education for nurses and other health care professionals. They meet the Michigan continuing education requirement for nursing license recertification.

Classes begin monthly and run:

Sept. 15 to Nov. 5
Oct. 20 to Dec. 10
Nov. 10 to Dec. 31
Dec. 8 to Jan. 28

Class topics include the following:

Bioenergy and Spiritual Healing
Complementary and Alternative Medicine
End of Life Care
Gerontology
Growth and Development Through the Lifespan
Legal and Ethical Issues in Nursing
Oxygenation Issues
Pain Assessment and Management
Perinatal Issues
Spirituality, Health and Healing
