SC4 students awarded Koppel scholarships

Five St. Clair County Community College students have been awarded the Charles A. Koppel Scholarship for winter semester 2011.

The scholarships are given to students who meet certain criteria, which include being an incoming freshman from St. Clair, Sanilac or Huron counties. The awards are $500 each.

The students are:

Desiree Brooks of Marlette
Emily Foote of Carsonville
Nicole Genaw of Fort Gratiot
Bryce Gordon of Marine City
Hillary Smith of Port Huron
