SC4’s World Explorer program continues in 2004

St. Clair County Community College (SC4) and Acheson Ventures have teamed up to present a free program, Tall Ship Experience, on Friday, January 9 from 7 - 8 p.m. in the SC4 Fine Arts Theatre in Port Huron.  This is a continuation of the SC4 World Explorer Series.

Highlander Sea Captain Jason Biondi will recap summer sailing voyages and his adventures racing tall ships on the Great Lakes.  Volunteer opportunities on the Highlander Sea will be explained.

The series will continue on Thursday, January 22, when SC4 biology professor Robert Collins will present Destination: China.  Professor Jim Berry will give hiking tips and a tour of the Appalachian Trail on Thursday, February 19.

For more information on the World Explorer series contact Advancement and Community Relations at St. Clair County Community College, 989-5588 or e-mail vhoste@sc4.edu.
