SC4 to offer supply chain technologies program

St. Clair County Community College's Workforce Training Institute will offer a supply chain technologies program on the college's Port Huron campus.

The program is designed to quickly prepare people for entry-level employment in the transportation, distribution and logistics industry as a shipping, receiving or traffic clerk.

The program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday from Oct. 3 to Nov. 21.

After completing the program, students will be prepared to sit for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) exams, as well as Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) exam.

Students must complete pre-assessment testing at least one week prior to class start date.

Grant funding may be available for students who qualify through Michigan Works!
