SC4 to offer sports camps for young athletes

Registration is open for St. Clair County Community College's Skipper Summer Sports Camps for students ages 8 to 18.

The SC4 Athletic Department will instruct boys baseball, boys and girls basketball, and girls volleyball.

The camps are offered in July for athletes of all skill levels.

Basketball and volleyball camps will be on SC4's Port Huron campus; baseball camp will be at Sanborn Park in Port Huron.

Camps include:

  • Girls Volleyball Beginner and Intermediate Camp – Runs 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, through Thursday, July 12. Designed for girls ages 10 to 18 with skill levels ranging from beginner to players with high school experience.
  • Girls Volleyball Advanced Camp – Runs 1 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, through Thursday, July 12. Designed for experienced volleyball players preparing for collegiate level play.
  • Girls Volleyball Setter's Clinic – Runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 13. Open to all ages and skill levels.
  • Boys Basketball Camp – Runs 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 16, through Thursday, July 19. Open to boys entering grades 4 to 10.
  • Girls Basketball Camp – Runs 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 23, through Thursday, July 26. Open to girls entering grades 4 to 10.
  • Boys Baseball Camp – Runs 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 23, through Thursday, July 26. Open to boys ages 8 to 18.
