SC4 offering computer repair technician program
St. Clair County Community College is offering a computer repair technician program to prepare students for A+ Certification. The six-month program prepares students for an entry-level career in information technology. Classes start each week. The program allows students to work at their own pace in an open lab from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on the college's Port Huron campus. Individual assistance is regularly available. Students must pass two exams to gain the A+ credential. Class fee includes textbooks, online study materials, practice tests, supplies and certification test vouchers. Students must complete pre-assessment testing, including a basic computer skills assessment, at least one week prior to class start date.
