The SC4 Alumni Association has awarded $10,750 to 12 students for the 2012-13 academic year at St. Clair County Community College.

Among the scholarship recipients are:

Dick Groch Student Athletic Scholarship – Awarded to an SC4 student athlete.

• Kristie Gaedcke of Memphis, $250

Velma Jean Kress Nursing Scholarship – Awarded to two nursing students. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

• Andrea Covrea of Port Huron, $750

SC4 Alumni Association Scholarship (new applicants) – Awarded to an incoming freshman enrolled full time with a high school grade point average of 3.0 or better. Award may be renewable for a second year.
