Wayne State makes plans to bring bachelor of social work program to SC4

Wayne State University (WSU) will hold informational sessions to discuss its bachelor's degree program in social work that the University plans to bring to the St. Clair County Community College (SC4) University Center in Port Huron.  The sessions will be held on Thursday, February 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in M-TEC room 206 at SC4.

Dr. Cassandra Bowers, coordinator of Wayne State's bachelor of social work (BSW) program and academic advisor, will provide an overview of the program and discuss program requirements and transfer credit.  She will also review individual transcripts after the information sessions.

Participants should bring a student copy of their transcripts.  To RSVP or for more information, call 586-263-6700 or e-mail ucm@wayne.edu

The University Center is located in the M-TEC building on SC4's Port Huron campus.  In addition to Wayne State, programs are offered by Saginaw Valley State University, Siena Heights University, Ferris State University, Central Michigan University, Kettering University, and Madonna University.  For more information on all bachelor's and master's degree options available, visit www.sc4.edu/universities or call 810-989-5808.
