National bone marrow drive comes to Bad Axe

St. Clair County Community College (SC4) will host a Thumb Area Drive for the National Bone Marrow Registry on Tuesday, September 17 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The drive will be held in the SC4 Nursing Education Center (next to the Secretary of State's office) located at 65 Patrick Drive in Bad Axe, Michigan. Anyone in good health and between the ages of 18 and 60 is welcome to donate.

"The drive is to help patients like Holly Talaski of Harbor Beach, who will require a bone marrow or stem cell transplant soon," comments Christine Wineman, organizer of this drive. For more information call 989-453-2336 or 1-800-MARROW-2.
