St. Clair County Community College (SC4) in downtown Port Huron has extended its walk-in registration hours. Classes begin the week of August 26 and Weekend College starts September 6. Students can sign up for fall classes weekdays through September 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except August 23, 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and August 30 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The College will also be open Saturday, August 24 and Saturday, September 7 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. to accept last minute registrations. The College is closed Monday September 2 for Labor Day.

The SC4 Career and Counseling Services department is also available during the same hours to schedule appointments for advising, one of the steps in the enrollment process. Group advising is available by appointment on Thursday, August 22 at 1:00 p.m. for Nursing students and 4:40 p.m. for all others; and on Saturday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. Please call 810-989-5520 for an individual or group appointment.

SC4 offers a wide variety of day, evening, and weekend courses at the main campus in Port Huron, and at Thumb Area Centers located in Algonac, Bad Axe, Imlay City, Peck and Yale.
