SC4 partners with MMTC for local training

St. Clair County Community College (SC4) and the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) have teamed up to offer management and continuous improvement training locally at the Citizens First Michigan Technical Education CenterSM (M-TEC) on the Port Huron campus of SC4. In the past, employees had to travel to Plymouth to receive this training.

The MMTC provides cost-effective, innovative training and implementation assistance to help companies achieve measurable and sustainable results. Companies can expect lower PPMs, improved consistency and increased reliability. Training sessions include:

May 9, Introduction to Six Sigma
May 14 - 16, Six Sigma Tools
May 23, ISO 14001 Discovery Session
May 29 & 30, ISO 140001 Internal Auditor Training
June 6, Understanding LEAN Principles and Techniques
June 13, Adjusting the Culture to LEAN
June 20, Value Stream Mapping
June 27, Set-up Time Reduction

For more information or to register for training, contact Industrial Training Coordinator Joel Endelman of the SC4's Center for Business and Industry Training at 810-989-5747 or jendelman@stclair.cc.mi.us
