SC4 Student Government approves gift

Under the direction of the St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Student Government President, Michael Aleck, and the Vice President, Jessica Letkiewicz, the group has approved a generous gift to the newest building on campus, Citizens First Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TECsm).

At its recent meeting the group approved funds to pay for framing a series of 24 computer-generated composite illustrations by artist and SC4 Professor John Henry. The framed prints will become part of the SC4 permanent collection and will be displayed in the lobby, conference room, hallways and classrooms of the M-TECsm. A community reception is planned for late summer once the artwork is in place. A plaque will be placed in the M-TECsm acknowledging the generous gift from the student government.

St. Clair County Community College currently serves approximately 9,200 students in the Blue Water area with a wide range of credit and non-credit classes.
