Many ways to pursue lifelong learning

A new distribution provides a variety of ways for area residents to obtain the annual non-credit schedule of spring and summer classes at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron.  Free copies can be picked up at Marysville Recreation on Delaware Street, at Enrollment Services on the second floor of the SC4 Main Building or in Room 124 of the Dr. Edward G. Acheson Applied Technology Center on the college campus.  The complete schedule is also available online at www.sc4.cc.  Click on WHAT’S NEW at the top of the home page.

Personal enrichment classes include local history, arts and crafts, gardening tips, yoga, genealogy, sign language and small business strategies presented by SC4 Continuing Education.   Opportunities to boost job skills are offered through the Center for Business and Industry Training, with classes in leadership and management training, industrial seminars, and computer training from introductory to network level options, as well as Web page design.

Lifelong learning is also available for those too busy to attend class on campus.  Non-credit classes now offered via the Internet include classes on nursing, computers, small business, management skills, industrial expertise, writing, natural health and debt elimination.  Find details on the Web at www.ed2go.com/stclair.

The complete spring and summer schedule of all non-credit classes is also available by calling Continuing Education at SC4, 810-989-5740.
