SC4 offering seminars for senior citizens

St. Clair County Community College’s Workforce Training Institute is offering several new seminars for senior citizens.

Upcoming classes are as follows (for those with multiple dates, you must attend all sessions):

· Oct. 6, 9 to 11 a.m. — Basic Computer Security

· Oct. 10 and 17, 9 a.m. to noon — Internet/E-mail

· Oct. 10 and 17, 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Investing for Seniors

· Oct. 12, 19 and 26, 9 a.m. to noon — Basics of Computers/Windows

· Oct. 14 and 21, 9 a.m. to noon — Microsoft Word

· Oct. 20 and 27, 9 a.m. to noon — Microsoft Excel

· Nov. 4, 9 a.m. to noon — Microsoft Access

· Nov. 11, 9 a.m. to noon — Microsoft PowerPoint

All classes are in the Michigan Technical Education Center on the college’s Port Huron campus.

Costs vary. Senior citizens in the SC4 district get a 50% discount.
