Soprano to highlight next SC4 free concert

St. Clair County Community College’s free Thursday at Noon Consert Series continues at noon Thursday, Feb. 9, in the Fine Arts Theatre on the college’s Port Huron campus.

The show, “Baroque to Broadway,” will feature soprano Lillian Maley, an SC4 faculty member. The event will be a prelude to Valentine’s Day, with musical selections based on the diverse aspects of love throughout the ages. Maley’s performance will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, William Bolcomb and the Broadway Musical Theatre.

Noon concerts are scheduled monthly through April, offering a variety of talent and musical style. The concerts are in the Fine Arts Theatre and have no admission price. Lillian Maley is also the event host and artistic director.

For more information on the Thursday at Noon free concert series and a complete schedule, call (810) 989-5709 or visit www.sc4.edu/events.
