SC4 students awarded alumni association scholarships

Three St. Clair County Community College students have been awarded the SC4 Alumni Association scholarship for 2006-07.

The scholarships are given to incoming freshman who meet certain criteria, which include being a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 high school grade point average and maintaining a 2.5 grade point average at SC4. Students receive $500 per semester. The scholarship is renewable for up to two years for students who continue to meet those criteria. Selection is based on academic excellence, financial need and community involvement or extracurricular activities.

The students are:

Kaitlin Brown of Yale.
Nicole Ledsworth of Kimball Township (scholarship renewed for second year).
Kenisha Williams of Port Huron.
