SC4 student awarded Acheson scholarship

St. Clair County Community College student Nicole Ledsworth of Kimball Township has been awarded the Howard A. Acheson Memorial Scholarship for 2006-07.

The scholarship is awarded to a student training for a career in chemistry or engineering who meets certain criteria. Candidates are selected on academic achievement with a secondary consideration on economic need. The recipient must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
