ESP employees at SC4 raise money for guardsmen, scholarships

Members of St. Clair County Community College’s Educational Support Personnel unit set a record by raising $1,301 through their annual Silent Auction, Craft and Bake Sale on Dec. 6.

Half of the money raised will benefit students through the ESP Scholarship Fund.

The other half was donated to the Marysville-based 1171st Family Readiness Group, which supports members of the Michigan Army National Guard’s 1171st Area Support Medical Company. The proceeds helped the readiness group ship holiday care packages to the guardsmen, who are stationed in Iraq.
