About SC4

SC4 serves as the primary center of higher education for the Blue Water Area. We work to fulfill the diverse needs of our educational communities by providing a broad range of educational, cultural and social learning opportunities. We offer a comprehensive future-focused curriculum and prepare students for the changing global economy.

SC4 Strategic Goals      

GOAL 1: Position the college for success

SC4 will engage in continuous systematic planning to guide our future directions in all areas of College operations.

GOAL 2: Increase the quality and accessibility of education

SC4 will provide quality education for students by means of traditional and non-traditional approaches. To meet the changing needs of a diverse student population, SC4 will expand its educational opportunities and services to be continuously available without compromising quality and integrity.

GOAL 3: Appreciate and understand diversity

SC4 will foster inclusiveness through its employment practices, in educational programs and services, cultural and artistic events, and in partnerships.

 

GOAL 4: Enhance global awareness

SC4 will provide relevant educational experiences that address global dynamics and the relationships of people, cultures, economy, and nations in an interconnected world.

GOAL 5: Insure the appropriate use of technology

SC4 will implement technology responsibly and appropriately in order to promote learning, enhance teaching, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative functions, and support the College mission.

GOAL 6: Assess institutional effectiveness

SC4 will insure that quality and integrity are continuously associated with the college and its educational programs, services, and operations by engaging in a continuous assessment of all its functions and among all its employees to assure it meets the needs of the communities it serves.
