Advising and career services

Academic advisors are available to assist you with developing an educational plan for your career goals. Advisors will help you select academic programs and courses at SC4 and understand transfer information and graduation requirements.

It is your responsibility to assure that your course selections meet the criteria for your degree or certificate requirements. This is done through freshmen audits, elective academic advising appointments, and unofficial and official graduation audits.

Advisors also can refer you to the Achievement Center to assist in academic preparedness, disability services, language barriers, study skills and tutoring. Confidential referrals are available for personal counseling to qualified community agencies and mental health practitioners in St. Clair and adjoining counties.

Click here to make an appointment using our online system or call (810) 989-5520.

Drop-in appointments are available from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Drop-in appointments will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
