SC4 is offering a new alternative energy class in March. Electric Car Basics (AET-195) will cover the components and features found in most electric cars. The 1-credit class only meets twice – from 9 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. Saturday, March 17, and Saturday, March 24. No textbooks are required. Learn how to assemble the components of an electric car. A class project will include converting a gasoline car to electric. You also will learn the benefits, shortfalls and limitations of electric car technology. The class will be taught by Will R. Smith.
