HESI Testing

Health Education Systems, Inc. (HESI) Admission Assessment is a part of the application process for the ADN program at St. Clair County Community College. The HESI test must be taken by the program application deadline. Please review the following attached (PDF) files for HESI pre-admission, registration and test-taking information.

Transition Program (LPN/HCP to ADN) - Nursing Application and HESI testing deadline is Oct. 1. To register for HESI, you must anticipate pre-requisites completed by end of fall semester (Oct. 1 deadline). HESI registration begins Aug. 1.

2010 APPLICATION YEAR ONLY: You may request to have your 2009 HESI score "frozen" for the 2010 application year, by submitting a request in writing to the Nursing Department. The request must be in writing by the application deadline (Jan. 15, 2010).
No exceptions.
