LPN winter 2008 ceremonies

St. Clair County Community College honored its practical nursing program graduates during ceremonies in Bad Axe on Wednesday, Dec. 17, and in Port Huron on Thursday, Dec. 18.

SC4 Interim President Kirk A. Kramer presided over the annual ceremonies.

Keynote speaker for the Bad Axe event was Marleen Grammentz, SC4 instructor of nursing. Twenty-six students received certificates.

Keynote speaker for the Port Huron event was Robert W. Gunn Jr., vice chair of the SC4 Board of Trustees and vice president of human resources at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Port Huron. Fifty-six students received certificates.

The 82 graduating students who completed the nursing program are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination.
