1. New Book Drop Box

We are excited to have a new Book Drop Box for patrons to use when the library is closed. It’s located outside the College Center doors on the parking lot side of the building.

2. Annual LRC Reference Statistics (July 2006 ― June 2007)

Below are some numbers from our annual reference statistics which reflect group and one-on-one instruction we provide to students
(and staff & faculty) who are conducting research for their coursework.

A large part of our instruction is dedicated to helping students use our electronic databases which house the periodical and ebook collections.

Purchasing electronic research tools, like our databases, allows us to more efficiently serve the research needs of multiple, on-campus and remote users. It also provides us with the added challenge of teaching students how to use and understand these new technologies and their application for college-level research.
