St. Clair County Community College believes that advisory committees are a valuable part of the process of engagement with the community and serve as a vital resource toward maintaining currency of curriculum offerings and robustness of the student experience. The purpose of advisory committees is to provide work-based information to the administration, faculty and staff regarding the skills and competencies for the students who are learning in a particular curriculum.
