Occupational Programs Advisory Committees

St. Clair County Community College believes that advisory committees are a valuable part of the process of engagement with the community and serve as a vital resource toward maintaining currency of curriculum offerings and robustness of the student experience.

The purpose of advisory committees is to provide work-based information to the administration, faculty and staff regarding the skills and competencies for the students who are learning in a particular curriculum. In doing this, the committee provides advice on new technology, emerging skill needs and other curriculum issues.
